May the 4th Be With You!

May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, is a beloved holiday celebrated by fans all over the world. It is a day for Star Wars newbies and enthusiasts alike to convene and celebrate all things related to the beloved franchise, a franchise that has stolen our hearts as well as the hearts of the J.J. Juniors (they hate this nickname btw).  The holiday originated from a pun on the iconic line "May the Force be with you" and has since become a global phenomenon.

Aside from watching the movies, there are countless ways to celebrate Star Wars Day. Here are four of J.J.’s favorite ideas:

  1. Create Star Wars-themed food and drinks, such as blue milk or Wookiee cookies. Check out some cool ideas on Pinterest for inspiration and recipes.
  2. Play Star Wars-themed video games. The Star Wars video game called Survivor is on our playlist, and we suspect we'll have a game review to share in the coming weeks.
  3. Build a Star Wars LEGO set or create your own Star Wars-inspired LEGO creations. How advanced are your Lego skills?  Check out these LEGO sets and tell us if you are cool enough to tackle one of these mighty feats!
  4. Host a Star Wars trivia night or play Star Wars-themed board games. Who doesn’t love a good game of trivia.  Here's a difficult Star Wars trivia question for the die-hards and try-hards:

    • In the Star Wars Legends canon, what was the name of the Sith Lord who created the Rule of Two, which stipulated that there could only be two Sith Lords at a time, a master and an apprentice, and that the apprentice must eventually kill the master to take their place?
    • Post your answer in the comments below or delve into the depths of Wookiepedia to create your own trivia questions. Wookieepedia | Fandom

No matter how you choose to celebrate, May the 4th is a time for Star Wars fans to come together and share their love for the iconic franchise. So grab your lightsaber and let the celebrations begin, and of course...

May the force be with you!
